It was such a great day for a Northampton Country Club Wedding. The perfect start to the 2023 TM Grey Photo Wedding Season.

It is always the most tremendous honor to capture a friend’s wedding. Riley and I have been friends since we were 12 years old. I remember her Sweet 16 vividly, and it was Alice & Wonderland themed with a fantastic cake from Ace of Cakes. When she asked me to do her wedding, I was all in. I knew it was gonna be a very memorable day.

Saturday started out windy but gorgeous at the Northampton Country Club in Easton, Pennsylvania.

All these beautiful florals from Allium Floral Design & Event Styling and some stunning details that Riley had planned out for her day. Her mom got her this lovely blue necklace with the letter H for Hutson, so she had something new and blue! There was also some gorgeous jewelry from Tiffany & Co. and a beautiful pearl necklace gifted to her by her grandparents.

Before the ceremony, Riley and Ryan shared a beautiful first look and a private vow exchange together. The sun stayed out just long enough to get a few couple’s portraits before it was too windy, and we had to go inside for the wedding party and family formals.

As Riley and her dad walked down the aisle, everything was fine. It was cloudy and gray, and the wind even died down a little. But as they were in the middle of the ceremony, thunder rolled in. The air horn sounded off for the golfers to come in, and before they could exchange their rings, down came the rain. I felt so bad for the poor bridesmaids, who used their bouquets to cover their faces. Props to her maid of honor, Najat, for being quick with the umbrella for Riley. And props to Ryan for wiping the raindrops off of her face. As the rain pelted down, they were pronounced Husband and Wife very quickly before we had to finish up inside.

There was a delicious dinner and dessert after their first dance, which was to the song Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez. And then Riley got to change into her second gown for the evening. Which is good for her because the other one got soaked in the rain. We had a fantastic time, especially for me, as I was singing and dancing along with everyone. That was easy, thanks to Wesley Works Entertainment & Photography. Everyone was having a great evening. We ended the night with a few quick shots under the umbrella in the rain.

Cheers to the Hutsons! If I had to do it all over again the same way, I totally would.
